Resumen:
- The properties of a termosensitive hydrogel can be modified by copolymerization or interpenetration with another polymer in the network. - The AMPS percentage in hydrogels increases the phase transition temperature and the swelling capacity until it breaks the hydrogel. - The semi-IPN with PANI increases the mechanical resistance, so the hydrogel can swell more than 2000%. - The semi-IPN with PMANI increases mechanical resistance, but the swelling capacity respond to pH. It is possible to build nanocomposites, based on smart hydrogels, which are sensitive to pH, temperature and microwave radiation. The behavior of these systems define what system would catch or deliver a drug with similar characteristic
