Resumen:
Igneous rocks have been analyzed for minor and trace
elements without previous concentration, by atomic absorption spectrometry.
To overcome matrix effects, a technique has been developed using reference
curves obtained from solutions which reproduce
average compositions
of acid and basic rocks.
Five U.S.
Geological
Survey standards were analyzed in order to compare experimental results wich
those given as the most probable in the literature. Precision was also studied.
This contribution intends to present a detailed analytical procedure.
