Resumen:
This work addresses a key question during the modeling and simulation stage of a switched reluctance machine. It quantifies the error produced on the calculation of the magnetic flux distribution due to the simplification assumptions. The first part presents the model of the machine using the magnetic equivalent circuit approach and represented with Bond Graphs. Secondly a more accurate model using the finite elements method is obtained. Finally the simulation results of both models are analyzed in order to determine the accuracy and validity of the Bond Graph model.
