Resumen:
Pseudomonas aurantiaca has been shown to promote plant growth. This bacterium presents the capacity of controlling, both in vitro and in situ, the growth of numerous fungi species such as Macrophomina phaseolina, Rhizoctonia solani, Sclerotinia sclerotiorum, Sclerotium rolfsii, Pythium spp., Fusarium spp., and Alternaria spp. This Pseudomonas produces an orange pigment, which is conditioned by the composition of the culture medium and has antifungal characteristics.
