Resumen:
A SYNTHESIS IS PRESENTED ABOUT AND GAPS IN KNOWLEDGE IN RELATION O THE FUNCTIONAL and adaptative role of wood in Eucalyptus genus. Interdisciplinary studies were focused on four Eucalyptus species differing in wood density and abiotic stress resistance. Anatomical and functional measurements showed that there is no trade-off between xylem hydraulic efficiency and safety.
