Resumen:
The aim of this work is to analyze the geochemical processes that associated with the geological – geomorphological particularities define the chemical characteristics of the groundwater in a sector of the Pampa Deprimida of the Salado River. Minor geoforms with important hydrologic local influence are recognized en this flat area. The ionic ratios reveal dissolution of CO2(g) processes in the region. It indicates the importance of groundwater recharge by rain infiltration. Groundwater is Na-HCO3 type in the eolic ridges and its composition is associated with calcium carbonate dissolution and base exchange processes. In the flood plain groundwaters evolves from Na-HCO3 to Na-ClSO4 types and dominate the evaporation processes. The groundwater hydrochemistry variations indicate the control that the local geomorphological features show in a flatland.
