ABSTRACT.I present the second record of Shiny
Cowbird (Molothrus bonariensis) parasitism of the
Black-chinned Siskin (Carduelis barbata). The last recorded
observation was in 1929. This also represents
the northernmost nesting record of the Black-chinned
