The above-described evidence prompts us to suggestAT1-R as a key player in neuroinflammatory eventsassociated with amphetamines (Figure 1). Interestingly,ARBs are currently used in clinics with a low incidence ofside effects. The data presented aim to encourage the focuson ARBs as an alternative pharmacological tool inamphetamine associated disorders.
