Resumen:
A new current control strategy for torque ripple minimization in Permanent Magnet AC Machines, with arbitrary EMF waveform, is presented in this paper. The proposal, based on vector control ideas, consists of a new change of variables that allows to perform the current control in DC variables, even for non sinusoidal PM machines. The proposed current controller also simplifies the implementation of the torque ripple minimization strategy in a microcontroller or DSP. The advantages of the proposed strategy over the conventional ones are presented.
