Resumen:
The implementation of a neighborhood electric vehicle with two independent wheel drives is presented. An electrical differential control is performed using two independent vectorcontrolled induction motors. Induction motors were rewound to operate with low voltage (28Vrms) while maintaining the original motor power and allowing secure low voltage DC-Link (42V). Two three-phase power MOSFET inverters were build for these motor power requirements. The whole system is controlled by only one digital signal processor, TMS320F2812. Experimental results for different vehicle maneuvers are also presented.
