Advanced
oxidation processes allow decompose or mineralize
organic pollutants through the generation of highly oxidative radicals such as ?OH. Heterogeneous photocatalysis is a powerful technology for the treatmentof wastewater that contains persistent organic pollutants such as dyes, pesticides in water[1]. Recently, zeolitesmodified with iron (Fe) have drawn the attention of many researchers, particularlyin the field of
environmental catalysis due toits activity andselectivity in many reactions [2].Organophosphate insecticides are used
extensively, the organophosphate insecticide dichlorvos (DDVP) [3], is used for
crop protection, especially in greenhouses, and control pests and insects in
homes. Due to its solubility in water, insecticide residues in agricultural
practices can infiltrate through the soil, eventually causing damage to various
aquatic organisms. Therefore, it necessary to remove this toxic compound in
water, the development of an efficient and economical method.
