We present preliminary results of a search for globular clusters in thesurroundings of 15 low surface brightness dwarf galaxies belonging tothe Fornax cluster, which was carried out on CCD images obtained withthe C and T1 filters of the Washington photometric system.The globular cluster candidates that were found show a clear bimodaldistribution in (C - T1), in agreement with the presence oftwo populations of clusters (``blue'' and ``red'' ones) detected inseveral galaxies, including our own. The projected numerical density ofthese candidates shows no concentration towards the respective dwarfgalaxies, in whose outskirts they have been identified, but it does showconcentration towards the center of the Fornax cluster. These resultssuggest that the potential globular clusters might not be bounded to thedwarf galaxies, nor to any other galaxy, but they might instead belongto the intra-cluster medium.
