This presentation explores the connections between women artists and migration, by focusing on two case studies of European women artists who moved to Argentina in the first half of the 20th century: Andrée Moch (1879-1953) and Mariette Lydis (1887-1970). Their condition of women and outsiders is at the origin of their negation in Argentine art history.
