Resumen:
Cypermethrin acute tolerance, and oxygen consumption response were evaluated of   Trichodactylus borellianus. Toxicity bioassays were conducted in glass aquaria. Crabs were exposed to six concentrations of cypermethrin during 96 hours. The effects of CY in the oxygen consumption were registered to control and three concentrations. Safe conditions were estimated on the basis of mortality data. The LC50 were estimated by using a Probit Analysis Program. LC50 was 0.0097 mg CY/L for 96 h and their 95 % confidence limit were 0.0049 and 0.0023 mg CY/L. Oxygen consumption shown difference between the control group and the groups of crabs with cypermethrin. The results of this study clearly indicate that the decapods crustacean are sensitive for level of synthetic pyrethroid that used in the  aquatic and agricultural system.
