Inner discs? An insight on the inner region of simulated disc galaxies

IN this work the morphological and dynamical properties of the stellar components of the inner regions of a sample of disc dominated galaxies from the EAGLE Project simulations (L100N1504) are studied. The structure of the bulge of these galaxies is analysed, attending to its density profile, age and their connection to its angular momentum. In this zone, we find a dynamical substructure supported by rotation which is always present. The stellar density profile of this component is not just a continuation of the exponential disc. Results are compared to the other numerical studies and observational surveys
