Resumen:
The goal of our work is to understand the formation and evolution of early-type, spheroid-dominated galaxies by means of cosmological simulations. For that purpose, we analyse the main structural, dynamical, and stellar population propertiesand assembly histories of this kind of galaxies and compare our results with observational data.In a previous work, (Rosito et al. 2018) we investigate a sample of field SDGs selected from asimulation from the Fenix project (Pedrosa & Tissera 2015).Here, we extend our analysis for the EAGLE simulation (Crain et al. 2015, Schaye et al. 2015)and focus especially on galaxy mass assembly. Both studies are consistent and it is noticeablethe presence of an non-neglectable disc component in all these galaxies that in general cannotbe observed. However, SDGs selected from EAGLE form, on average, in an outside-in way. These differece can be explained in terms of metallicity and age distributions.
