Resumen:
The Ene Basin, with an area of more than 40,000 km2 , is a structurally complex sub-basin of the Greater Peruvian Oriente foreland basin. Located 300 km east of the Pacific trench, the Ene Basin is bounded to the west by the Eastern Cordillera, apparently with a major east-verging reverse fault. To the north it transitionally grades into the Pachitea sub-basin. To the east, it is separated from the Ucayali Basin and its prolific Camisea gas and condensate fields by the Shira High and Otishi Cordillera
