Resumen:
A description of a new conchostraca (Cyzicus (E.) falconeri) is presented. The material was found in the Yaguarí Formation in Uruguay, considered to be Late Permian. Comparisons are made with materials found in Late Permian and Triassic strata of Brazil and the Triassic of South Africa.
