Resumen:
Starting from the concept of asymptotic sufficiency due to Le Cam (1956) we study some definitions of higher order asymptotic sufficiency and then approximate sufficiency. In particular we present a definition which tends to be operational in practical situations. Then we analyse some statistics which are approximately sufficient, considering specially the conditions under which the approximation holds and the order of magnitude of this approximation.
