Resumen:
The aim of this paper is to offer a criticism of mainstream neoclassical economic knowledge from a phenomenological viewpoint, especially that proposed by Alfred Schutz. It does so against a background when economics is more influential within public discourse than has been the case in decades. And, at the same time, when the ideas typically identified as the totality of the economics are being fundamentally critiqued and challenged from both within and out the discipline.
