Resumen:
Aereal parts of Dalea elegans yielded 6-prenylpinocembrin and from the roots, a novel structure 2´,4´-dihydroxy-(1´´´-dimethylallyl)-6-prenylpinocembrin was isolated. This is the first time that these compounds have been reported in the genus.
