Resumen:
In this work we present a strategy for the parallelization ofgradient-based nonlinear programming techniques, which is particularlysuitable to solve optimization problems whose objective functions and/orconstraints are costly to evaluate. The algorithm was conceived to be runon heterogeneous distributed computing environments. In order to avoidcommunication overheads and improve load balancing, we propose theuse of a hybrid computational task-scheduling model.
