Resumen:
A novel, non-ionic water soluble phthalocyanine has been synthesized. The synthetic approach proved to be useful for the introduction of eight peripheral alkyloamino groups which provide water solubility to the dye. Phototoxicity was assassed in Hep-2 cell line. The cell viability was measured after 24 h incubation and 15 min irradiation resulting in 100 % cell mortality.
