Resumen:
Use observations of organic bromine (CBr y ) and BrO obtained in the Tropical Western Pacific (TWP) to quantify stratospheric bromine injection from Very Short Lived (VSL) sources via: ? Source Gas Injection (SGI): VSL CBr y species that cross the tropopause prior to decomposition ? Product Gas Injection (PGI): Inorganic decay products of VSL CBr y that cross the tropopause. Assess how well VSL Br y injection into the stratosphere is represented in Chemistry Climate Models, using output recently posted to the CEDA archive of the BAD.
