Resumen:
This article explores the notions of information and organization within Gilbert Simondon´s theory of individuation, both in his main works and in some of his conferences, mainly the one given in 1962 on the modes of amplification. Moreover, it confronts these notions with ideas coming from cybernetics and Alan Turing´s work, especially his universal machine, opening new ways of understanding the relation between humans and machines and highlighting certain impasses in Simondon´s theory. Finally, this work illustrates the importance of these concepts as precursors of some post-structuralist philosophical milestones, mainly Gilles Deleuze?s oeuvre, and also of the General Systems Theory.
