Resumen:
The redescription of the biological cycle of Plagiodera erythroptera (Blanchard, 1851) is made. This species, usually known as "willow´s vaquita", damages different species of willows used for forestation and ornamentation. The adults, larvae and the ovipositions used in this research were collected and created on different willows species from Córdoba province, Argentina. The cycle from egg to imag is completed in 40 days.
