The aim of this chapter will be to summarize and integrate different studies carried out by different researchers, especially Argentineans, on prosociality, different types of it, different targets -as relatives, friends and strangers-, and related variables such as empathy, positive emotions, aggressiveness, and contextual variables as characteristics of the place of residence. The chapter will include theoretical aspects and empirical results.
