Resumen:
The aim of this work is to developthe phenomenological based modeling of a selfpressurizedalkaline electrolyser with the objectiveof predicting the cross-contamination of the gasesproduced. A proposed model, built in MatlabR , representsthe dynamical evolution in real electrolysers,and anticipates operational variables: level, pressureand all concentrations. Dynamic responses in theconcentrations of the electrolytic cell, and variationsin both level and pressure at the chamber due to thechange in current and diffusivity, are reported. Theequations by which the variables can be computedare also presented. The proposed model is ready forthe corresponding adjustment of parameters basedon experimental measurements taken from an availableprototype and through a suitable identificationprocess.
