Resumen:
The attitude control design for the small satellite SAC-A is presented. This is a technologicaltest satellite which contains several experiences: a DGPS, a CCD Camera, a Tri AxialMagnetometer, an Argentine Solar Cells and a Whale Tracker. After the definition of theexperiments, the spacecraft design, construction and testing was limited to less than 1 year. The attitude control system has a Sun pointing mode combined with and Earth fixed observationmode. Furthermore there is a DGPS mode which seeks to expand the applicability of thecommercial receivers to different attitudes, incIuding rotating satellites.
