Resumen:
A linear parameter varying (LPV) controller designexample for the position and attitude control of a spacecraft ispresented. The six degree-of freedom (DOF) model includingthe aerodynamics is described. Simulations with the nonlinear6?DOF model show the usefulness of the design procedure. Thepractical problem of ?fast dynamics? in the controller is solved byan ad hoc method based on the use of a single quadratic Lyapunovfunction with pole clustering constraints for each frozen lineartime invariant (LTI) system in the parameter variation set. Theresults show that the method facilitates simulation and allows foraddressing implementation aspects such as the sampling rate.
