Resumen:
The conjunction of "Health" and "Gender" usually points to a few very specific topics, which in our local context are mostly related to sexual and (non-)reproductive rights (in particular: contraception, pregnancy and abortion). There are historical and political reasons for this limitation, but also deeper foundations on what is understood by "health", what by "gender", who and what are "women" and "men", among other issues. In this Conference we will discuss this bias in the Health agenda on gender, its underpinnings and exclusions. We will also explore some of its less trodden possibilities, as an invitation to build a wider agenda on Health & Gender.
