Resumen:
Withthe aim of investigating the choices preferred by users in front ofthe different alternatives that can be found in the field of interiorresidential lighting, a living room was designed in real scale inwhich it is possible change both sources and levels of lighting.Twenty-four lighting conditions were evaluated, including thecombination of four different technologies: Incandescent (I), HalogenIncandescent (HI), Compact Fluorescent (CF) and light-emitting diode(LED), with three different levels of horizontal illuminance between215 and 630 lux and classified as cold (6500K) and warm (2700K) colortemperatures. All the lamps evaluated belongs to the base group E27,which are the most used in residential homes.Twenty-fourobservers completed subjective evaluations through a questionnaire ofsemantic differentials in which categories related to perception ofthe enlightened environment were evaluated.Resultsshowed, for all evaluated conditions, that maximum levels ofillumination are qualified with highest values. At the same time,significant variations are observed in the assessment carried out forthe different lamps and color temperatures. It is distinguishedobservers? preference for warm lighting (2700K) and lamps such asHI and LED. Also, lamps that are preferred distributes the light moreuniformly throughout the space. These results might be interestingfor both designers and users since they could be used asrecommendations when an environment to be illuminated is going to bedesigned, considering technological, economic, structural aspects andalso people?s perspective.p { margin-bottom: 0.25cm; direction: ltr; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); line-height: 115%; text-align: left; }p.western { font-family: "Calibri", serif; font-size: 11pt; }p.cjk { font-family: "Calibri"; font-size: 11pt; }p.ctl { font-size: 11pt; }a:link { }a.sdfootnotesym-western { font-family: "Arial", serif; font-size: 8pt; }a.sdfootnotesym-cjk { font-size: 8pt; }a.sdfootnotesym-ctl { font-family: "Arial"; font-size: 8pt; }
