Resumen:
We present the environmental and archaeological results of Cerro Amigo Oeste (CoAW) site, located at Somuncurá plateau, Northern Patagonia, Argentina. This information and its comparison with other sites of South America is used for the interpretation of archaeological landscapes of colonization. The objects and beings of landscape are understood as the materiality of social relations, which, besides allowing to draw patterns of production, retooling, mobility and human relations. This site with a very special location no sun due to its high viewing the landscape, but also for their archaeological and ethnographic significance, is outlined with excellent conditions to be considered a node (hub) communication in the social network in late Pleistocene between near and far between hunter-gatherers
