Resumen:
A machine learning technique called Self-Organizing Maps (SOM) was employed to classify synoptic scale weatherpatterns in the vicinity of Buenos Aires, Argentina. Patterns that correlate with solar irradiance intermittence were identified inorder to better understand conditions that give rise to variability in photovoltaic generation.
