Resumen:
Current IFN-γ release assays (IGRAs - QuantiFERON®-TB Gold Plus (QFT), T-Spot.TB®) cannot discriminate active from latent tuberculosis infection (LTBI) Currently, no diagnostic gold standard test to diagnose LTBI is available Previously, we demonstrated that IFNγ secretion against Rv2626c, a Mycobacterium tuberculosis (Mtb) dormancy antigen, allows to discriminate LTBI subjects from healthy donors (HD) and tuberculosis (TB) patients. (EBioMedicine. (2015) 30; 2(8):882-8, Sci Rep. (2020) 10:7472)In this work we developed Diagnos-TB, a new IGRA that differentiates HD, TB and LTBI by using a fusion protein (Fp) of CFP10 and ESAT6 Mtb antigens plus latent Mtb Rv2626c antigen
