Resumen:
Segregation is an old social and economic issue of concern in several cities around the world. Fifty years ago, Schelling used a model of agents of two types (races in his original work) for warning that certain still mild mechanisms can impact on high levels of global segregation. In this work, we added new ingredients to the model inspired in some real cities where fixed regions (natural or man-made) that are inaccessible to agents play the role of frontiers between the different types of populations.
