Resumen:
still poorlyunderstood mainly because of the most-equatorwardposition. In previous works it was proposed thatinner-crater ice mounds developed under uniqueatmospherics conditions in what is known as ?coldtraps? [3]. An alternative hypothesis argues that theseequatorward ice deposits might be related with a moreextensive ice cap [4]. Most geological evidence pointto a model of atmospheric deposition of water vapor inthe center of the crater [1]. Moreover, the offsetposition of the ice mound was attributed todepositional process, aeolian activity and sublimation[1].
