Western dietary habits including high fat-industrialized foods are increasinglyrepresented in juvenile populations and constitute one of the factors that affect brain health, potentially leading to long lasting effects. Adolescence, characterized by brain maturation and behavioral changes, is particularly vulnerable to the environment. Hence, our aim was to study the impact of an early exposure to a high fat diet (HFD) on mouse hippocampal plasticity and cognition.
