We study the dynamics of ring galaxies using colitionless numerical simulations of the axial interaction of a normal disk galaxy with a dwarf spheroidal. These simulations were carried out using the GADGET treecode (Springel et al. 2001). We analize the relation between the ring propagation velocity and the mean velocity of particles inside it. The former is commonly used to impose observational constrains to the ring formation models, nevertheless these models give us the propagation of the ring-like perturbation, therefore it is important to find a relation between these velocities.
