Freezing of gait (FOG) is characterized by sudden episodes in which the patient is unable to make a step. This causes a significant fall risk and the consequences often are serious on the person?s health. This project proposes an assistive device to help patients with Freezing, using visual and acoustic stimulation. The device is attached to the patient?s foot and it is controlled by a Mobile App. This preliminary approach is intended to get data from clinical trials and develop the final device according with these results, with a controlled process supported by clinical evidence.
