iolat is a userfriendly bioinformatic resource http//.cancergenomics.net, hich provides a set of analytic tools forthe discovery and in silico evaluation of novel prognostic andpredictive cancer biomarers based on integration and reuse ofgene expression signature in the context of folloup data. Here,e describe the main improvements implemented in the secondversion of the softare. The ne distinctive features include thecapability to analyze the gene expression profiles in the context offolloup among thousand of samples obtained from TCA projectThe Cancer enome Atlas, C H in almost every humancancer disease. The destop crossplatform client applicationisno supported by a dedicated ioplat bacend for the statisticaland computational analysis of very large databases.
