Resumen:
From Images and Spectra obtained with Flamingos 2 (F2) at Gemini South we have performed a number of structural and kinematical studies of the southern Seyfert 2 galaxy NGC 6300. Here we present two of the results for the Ks band. First, extracting the light profile from the Ks image at PA coincident with the semimajor axis of the galaxy we were able to model the nuclear structure with two Sersic functions and a gaussian for the central source. From this we could determine that the central structure is off-centered in 25 pc respect to a disk of Kpc scale. Second, In the Ks spectra we found a red excess in the nuclear extraction and the 27 pc centered extraction. This excesses are properly fitted with 1255K and 1225K blackbody functions respectively, strongly suggesting that are being produced by warm dust in the circumnuclear regions of this low luminosity AGN. This kind of excess have been observed previously in other AGNs but almost exclusively in the nuclear spectrum due to the lower resolution of the used data.
