EFFECT OF DIETARY SUPPLEMENTATION OF A MIX OF PROBIOTICS ADSORBENTS OF MYCOTOXINS ON GROWTH PERFORMANCE IN BROILERS EXPOSED TO AFLATOXIN B1

The objective of this research was to evaluate the efficacy of a mixture of yeast and lactic acid bacteria (S. cerevisiae RC016 and L. rhamnosus RC007) to protect against aflatoxicosis in broilers, compared to a commercial diet. Experimental aflatoxicosis was induced in broilers of 5 days of age, from the experimental diets contaminating the food with 506.14 ± 22.1 ppb of AFB 1 and administering in the food the mixture of microorganisms at 0.1%, for 34 days. A total of 75 chickens were randomly divided into 5 treatments (3 repetitions per treatment). The growth performance was measured and the sacrifice of the animals was carried out after 35 days. The parameters measured were productive parameters (feed intake, weight gain and feed conversion index and relative weights of the lymphoid organs).
