Resumen:
We study the absorption of gamma-rays that could be pro-duced in the inner region of the X-ray binary system SS433. We calculatethe optical depth due to soft photons coming from the companion starand from the extended disk wind from the supercritical accretion disk.Interactions with star matter and with that of the extended disk are alsofound to cause signi¯cant absorption of gamma-rays. We discuss the ob-servability of the predicted absorption signatures with instruments suchas VERITAS, MAGIC II, and GLAST.
