Resumen:
In recent years, PSCs (perovskite solar cells) have generated great interest in the scientific community due to their high electrical photoconversion efficiencies and low raw material and processing costs. One of the challenges in the development of these devices is related to the design of the load carrying layers (CTL), which are decisive in the performance of the cell. On the other hand, the MOFs (Metal-organic frameworks) are porous and crystalline coordination polymers in which the connection between the metallic centers is given by organic ligands of diverse nature, they have been widely used for catalysis, storage, gas separation, drug delivery, etc. MOFs are attractive candidates for use in CTLs because they are highly ordered materials. In addition, they can be used both as a hole transport layer (HTL) or as an electron transport layer (ETL) due to the possibility of adjusting the energy levels and the band gap by simple modification of the metals or ligands.
