Resumen:
The aim of this project is to develop bioinks based on biomaterials able to be used in 3D bioptinting technology, to create different shape scaffolds for potential application on personalized dressings for wound healing. Pectin, carboxymethyl cellulose and microcrystalline cellulose exhibit a wide range of functional and biological properties and they are biocompatible (Ninan et al., 2013; Kavitha et al., 2014). These biomaterials were mixed to create extrudable pastes. Analysis of deposited filament shape was accomplished by microscopy to evaluate extrudability, filament thickness and related printability. Different three-dimensional structures were designed, showing a good print similarity to 3D CAD (Computational Aided Design). Rheological tests were performed in order to characterize the bioinks. This work allowed to obtain precise deposition of biofilaments to create personalized dressings according to patient's wound shape.
