Resumen:
A versatile platform for the production of metal-oxidecomposites is reported in this work. A  La0.25Ce0.52Nd0.17Pr0.06O2? 3Ni composite is selected forthis study. The composite is fabricated in a two-step method includingmechanical milling of the metals/alloys and thermal treatment in air and H2.The mechanism of synthesis includes the structural transformation from cubic tohexagonal of the polymorphs present in the starting La0.25Ce0.52Nd0.17Pr0.06alloy. The transformationis induced by milling.   As a part of the analysis, the enthalpy offormation of the La0.25Ce0.52Nd0.17Pr0.06O2compound is reported. The work reports a platform for the synthesis of composites.The microstructure of thecomposites is tunable for the use in in different technological applications.
