Resumen:
New records of Corydoras micracanthus from the Bermejo River basin are presented. We confirm the presence of this species in the province of Jujuy, based on deposited material. In addition, its type locality in Lesser, Salta is confirmed, after new data obtained from bibliography regarding the collecting localities of Alfredo Borelli, collector of the type specimens. Additional comments on the behavior, ecology, and conservation status ofthis species are given.
