Resumen:
Random sequential adsorption of k-mers (particles occupying k adsorption siteson the substrate) of different sizes and shapes deposited on two-dimensional regularlattices is studied. In the present paper an heterogeneous surface is considered. Inorder to represent such heterogeneities the presence of impurities in the lattice isconsidered. The impurities in lattice are modeled by considering a fraction of theadsorption sites as forbidden for deposition. As the forbidden sites are randomlyselected, the average coordination number for each available element depend onthe concentration of impurities. For discrete models, at the late stage the surfacecoverage evolves according to θ(t) = θ(∞)−A exp(t/σ), where θ(∞) is the jammingcoverage while A and σ are fitting parameters. In the present paper, the dependenceof the terminal relaxation time σ (which determine how fast the lattice is filled upto the jamming coverage) on the parameters of the problem is established.
