The law, as a field of research, has ceased to be the exclusive object of jurists, and anthropologists, sociologists and historians have taken it upon themselves to reflect on it. This work explores questions, categories, approaches and authors that are propitious to promote a new perspective of dialogue between history and law, hand in hand with the History of Justice and the Rights of Nature. What are the points of contact between these fields of study, which examine rules, practices, agents? What questions to the legal tradition entails the recognition of Nature as a subject of law?
